Classes & Clubs

Laughter YogaLaughter Yoga
Mondays,  9:17 - 9:57 AM
Facilitated by Clare Goodwin
Laughter Yoga is non-political, non-religious, and non-competitive. We laugh for better health, joy and world peace. Attendance is free, and sessions are held Monday mornings at 9:17 – 9:57 AM every week in the Inkwell event room. No sessions on holidays that fall on a Monday. Goodwin, a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader and psychotherapist, explains that, “Laughter Yoga is a physically oriented technique, not a mental practice.” Laughter Yoga is a worldwide social movement.

Writing JournalIndependent Writers' Club
Second and Fourth Saturdays each month from 1:00 - 3:00 PM
This group is for published authors and future writers who wish to exchange experience, read their work, or just meet with people of the same interest. A core group of writers has been meeting since January, but new members to the club are always welcome. You are encouraged to bring samples of your work to read aloud at the meeting. Occasionally, we will invite guest speakers to discuss the fields of writing and publishing. Suggested texts: The Right to Write and The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. Hosted by Madeleine I. Felker.

The Inkwell is pleased to offer free meeting space for clubs and classes. Please contact us by phone at (508)540-0039 or email:info at inkwellbookstore.com
